HOUSTON, TX, October 20, 2016 – Jeanette L. Davis, Entrepreneur, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Jeanette L. Davis will be featured in an upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016.
Jeanette L. Davis has always had an affinity for customer service and the consumer business. Over the course of her career she has contributed greatly to her field, including helping with the implementation of many startups as the first point manager and operations team, writing a Training and Reference Manual for the Chips Ahoy Snack lines used to train management, and writing an instructions manual for an Oracle 12 startup for customer service operations in the oil and gas environment, just to name just a few. She has worked for several large companies, including Frito-Lay, Inc., Nabisco, Compaq Computers, and Hewlett-Packard.
“I enjoyed the work environment so much and took advantage of opportunities,” Davis said. “I enjoyed what I was doing and being in people reporting responsibility roles more often than not. I continued to work on my development and the development of employees who reported to me. Eventually, I desired the next challenge.”
Davis’s vast knowledge eventually led to her becoming an Entrepreneur of Gourmet Harvest International, baked goods of family favorite recipes and more; Ardyss Life, the benefits of taking care of your overall wellness, feeling great, looking good, longevity and Chrysalis-Ent. LLC, property investment and rehabbing for sale.
A part of the Worship and Arts Ministry, Davis sings in the church choir at church sponsored events on and offsite. She also supports church ministries throughout the year, including volunteering in a major annual event for the Missions and Outreach Ministry where a talent show is hosted to provide Thanksgiving meals for more than 600 families. Contributing to her community is a big part of her life and Davis enjoys helping others. Part of being a better you, she says, is to be willing to help someone else become a better ‘them’.
Davis holds a BS in Mechanical and Environmental Systems Engineering from the University of Houston. She also holds a Mid-Management Executive Certificate from the College of Business Administration at the University of Houston and Food Service Management Certificate from the City of Houston. Married for 22 years, Davis and her husband have a daughter who is currently a freshman in college and a son who is a junior in high school.
