Houston, TX, October 30, 2019 – Gourmet baker, entrepreneur and President of Gourmet Harvest International, Jeanette Davis announced that her company’s products will be available again this year at the annual Holiday Market held at the Lakes on Eldridge Saturday November 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 12750 Lake Center Run, Houston, Texas. The event will be centered at the Lakes on Eldridge Clubhouse. Better Homes and Gardens – Gary Greene Real Estate is a sponsor.
Davis said her immensely popular Nut Cake Mini-Bites, Nut Cake, Muffins and Harvest Nut Cake Loaves will be available as well as delicious Butter Pecan Muffins. Of course, her renown Gourmet Holiday Fruitcakes will also be available. She added, that because of demand for the holidays individuals or companies looking to give the gift of Gourmet Holiday Fruitcakes will be able to place and pay for an order at the event and the product will be baked-to-order for them. She said it is best to get those orders in as early as possible.
Davis added, “Our harvest nut muffin is made with a blend of enriched flour and brown sugar combined with a robust combination of fruit and spices consisting of citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and nuts. Our single serving muffin is baked full of mouthwatering flavor and texture from our secret family recipe. They are delicious any time, however they are also a fantastic addition to anyone’s holiday table.”

“My mother and her sisters continued the tradition of making the family recipe cakes my grandmother made. I loved to smell the aroma of the cakes baking throughout the house. For the rest of my vivid memories, long after the baking had been completed, we had cake for weeks and even months. Good all the way to the last crumb. I remember going to the closet where the cake was kept. There inside a large stainless steel pot, the cake was wrapped in cheesecloth and then covered with kitchen towels. The pot was sturdy but worn. I can remember that one of the wooden grip handles on the pot was broken. Leaving the remaining piece of wooden handle to spin around the screw.
